Burt's Pumpkin Farm

Troy and I drove home to Norcross, this last weekend to visit the family and to continue our fall tradition of visiting Burt's Pumpkin Farm! When we arrived at the house, my mom had already put out all her fall decorations. One of my favorite pictures my mom has is of me and my best friend of my childhood Jacque at Burt's for the very first time. We had our fall tshirts on and our dorky little glasses. It really is priceless! So we were able to hang out with my parents on Saturday where my mom and I went shopping while Troy and my dad went up to the lake for the day.

Sunday we started out early and traveled the beautiful road to Dawsonville where we met Troy's parents, Gwen and Kevin. When we arrived at 10:30 Burt's was already a ZOO!!

Besides the crowds, I thoroughly enjoyed the hundreds of pumpkins you can choose from.
You have the giant pumpkins...
Then there are short white ones as well as the beautifully odd worty pumpkins!
The weather was absolutely gorgeous but very bright. Hence the hand visor :)
Some adorable little scarecrows!

There also were some real life characters there that fit the environment just perfectly...

The officer tried to handcuff Alex to a sign that said no kicking pumpkins allowed because he insisted she was being an unruly teenager...

My favorite part of it all is the time we got to spend with family!
The whole group :)

A great weekend with lots of fun memories with family! One of our favorite things to do :)

Love,
The Kossicks
