Dental School Winter Formal

As I ended our last post saying I had to come back from break and start studying for a pretty treacherous finals schedule. So when our dental school winter formal came around it was a nice study break where Troy and I were able to let lose a little and hang out with some friends. It was held at the Augusta History Museum. The venue was really beautiful and the band was fabulous! They really kept the energy of the crowd up and made it really entertaining.

The theme of the party was Hollywood evening. They made it as real as possible with a red carpet and everything. To make it even more realistic they requested that a few of us who enjoy taking photos, to pose as paparazzi. I was not completely jazzed about the idea of having to spend some of the night taking pictures of others. It ended up being more fun then I thought and there was plenty of time to enjoy the night. One of my friends was nervous about the prospect of walking into the banquet and having their photos taken. "Are y'all going to be really acting like paparazzi and yelling at us?" I reassured her at least one of us, me, would not be acting like that :)

The table decorations that were so festive...

Our awesome friends Matt and Jess.

Yes this is our ASDA vice president breaking it down! He was a pretty good dancer and had no shame!

Troy was ready to go at this point
Some good friends :)
I love this man as much as I did first day I met him. There are times where I want to strangle him but those times are far and few between. Sharing memories like these holiday parties, our dinner/movie date nights at home, walks along the river, and many more are what gets me through thing like finals week. For the hundredth time, I know I would not be able to do this by myself.

Love,
The Kossicks
