*Edit* If this gives you any idea how crazy it has been at our house the last 3 weeks. I started this blog entry over 3 weeks ago and am just now finishing it up. Although this is a longer post because it is recapping the whole month of December!
I cannot believe we have started the year 2011. It sounds so weird to say! It has been complete CHAOS at the Kossick house. We spent all three weeks of my Christmas break in Atlanta or Adairsville. It was a load of fun hanging out with both parents and families but it was just as nice to get back to North Augusta and be at home again.
Over break we spent a lot of time relaxing and hanging out doing nothing super exciting which is exactly what we both needed. Between school and work, Troy and I were completely worn out. Here are some of the things we did do while being a ping pong ball between the Kossick's and the DeMercy's:

The oldest ornament on the DeMercy Christmas tree. Mom always does such an amazing job of decorating the house. Troy is already upset at my collection of decorations but I told him, "Look out because this is what I have to live up to!"

Troy with the puppies holding down the couch while mom and I decorated :)

Lunch with Mom at the Flying Biscuit, one of my favorites!!!

Shopping at Whole foods is an awesome experience that Troy and I enjoy!
Kirby and Jeff drove all the way from Kentucky to visit us! We had so much fun hanging out with them over the weekend and were terribly sad to see them go. They have the cutest and sweetest little puppy, Bella. She gave Apollo a run for his money :)

While we were in Adairsville with Kirby and Jeff we went visited a street that had a TON of Christmas lights that were really fun and festive to see!

Poor Apollo hurt his little feetsies while we were there so we had to bandage up his paws so we wouldn't get blood on Gwen's beautiful hardwood floors.

Gwen had the house beautifully decorated for Christmas. My personal favorite the Christmas Village that was originally Grandma Kossicks!

Mr. Apollo being adorable as usual....

After the Lee's traveled home, we enjoyed Kevin's company during the day while Gwen was at work. One of these field trips involved the gun range of course!!

Garrett shooting off his shotgun that Papa gave him. What a shot!

Me having some fun while the boys shot their guns :)

The .22 that killed many a squirrel up in Michigan...

The three goofballs with their guns :)

I shot Troy's gun too!!

I love this man so very much!!
We also were able to go and visit Aunt Mel, Jamie, Tommie, and their handsome boys!!!

These two boys are sooo stinking adorable I could hardly contain myself!

I absolutely love this picture!! It makes me all warm and fuzzy inside to see it :) ONE DAY when the time is right but not yet...
Gwen and I had a baking night where we made homemade marshmallows, peanut brittle, and homemade hot chocolate! It was really fun and helped me to further get into the holiday spirit!

Kevin had the ingenious idea to use the ear warmer as a cell phone holder, so Gwendolyn stole his idea and put it into practice! Soo funny had to share!

We also visited Covenant College in Chattanooga and were able to see some beautiful views near Lookout Mountain!

We went and saw a local theaters production of A Christmas Story. It was a little better as a movie but we at least enjoyed the company of each other and being in downtown Chattanooga to see Christmas lights!
For my 25th birthday this year we celebrated at my favorite little French bistro in Roswell! It was so wonderful having everyone there with me to celebrate and made me feel very loved and appreciated!

After my birthday lunch several of us went downtown to Centennial Olympic Park to the skating rink and did some ice skating!! It was fun even though it was a really tiny rink that hadn't been smoothed in who knows how long.

And apparently I have no more capabilities to load pictures!!! WHAT TO DO!!! So this is about all that happened over break minus the Varns trip to Atlanta for New Years! I will post about that weekend at another time. Currently its off to bed for me after a long hard day of school at Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry, which by the way has officially changed names to Georgia Health Sciences University College of Dental Medicine :( Most students are not particularly happy about the change because it seems like a tremendous waste of money that could be going to our new school of dentistry building that will be opening up this summer!!! SO EXCITED!!
Love,
The Kossicks
