This last weekend Troy and I managed to relax and enjoy each other's company which was very much needed. Saturday we went on a walk by the river where it was kind of wet and cold but Apollo still seemed to love the exercise! That night we brought Apollo over to our friends house and hung out there for a couple of hours.
This picture makes me laugh because Troy didn't realize he was in the background of this picture. I wish Apollo was more in focus but Troy in the back playing is hilarious!Sunday we woke up and enjoyed a lazy day where we cooked biscuits and gravy for our breakfast! We watched a lot of TV and managed to get out of the house to take Apollo to the dog park for the first time since we got him. He loved it! There was another great dane there and we found that Apollo is either a runt or is just slower to grow. Either way we love him all the same it was just crazy because this other great dane was also 8 months old but he had a good 30 pounds and 4 inches on Apollo. They played with each other and had a blast where the other dog managed to drool all over him. A wonderful weekend over all!
