Busy Exciting Weekend...

Last weekend was such a wonderful weekend for many reasons and I felt like I could really enjoy it because I had ZERO tests this week that I had to study for!! That is a first...and technically not even true, we have an operative practical Thursday but still nothing I had to study for! First off, ALEX IS A STATE CHAMP!! Friday as soon as Troy got off work we booked it over to Atlanta to make it to the State Championship game in the Gwinnett Arena. We made it on time and were able to watch an amazing game! They played Redan and the game stayed closer then I would have liked especially up until the last minute and half. The reason we started to pull away was because one of the players on the other team had a foul called on her and she apparently didn't agree with it and cussed the ref out and got a technical. We made all four of those free throws which put us up by 9. Then a few plays later their coach had a technical called on him for not being quiet when the ref asked him to zip it. Consequently because of technical fouls we were able to seal the deal and win the state championship title for girls AAAAA basketball!!!! The first in Norcross girls basketball history! Very exciting and memorable!

The other exciting news was we got to spend all day Saturday with the Kossicks and my family and the Porters who are visiting them from Michigan. We really enjoyed their company and the Porter's two little girls loved playing with the puppies and were quite adorable. Very well behaved little girls as usual!

Unfortunately Troy found out yesterday he has to leave me for a bit to do some work up north :( Needless to say I am not handling it very well but maybe I will get some work done...unlikely. Hope everyone is having a great week and I am looking forward to the weekend but at least its already Wednesday!!!
