Snow in GA?

The month of February was an eventful month for the Kossick's! Well not super eventful but somewhat interesting...It went by really really quickly. A synapsis of our month:

Our good friends, Matt and Jessica, have been looking for a great dane puppy since they fell in love with Apollo which is easy to do. So between Jessica and I scouring all resources we had for great danes, finally the perfect one was found! They named him Magnus and he is a whopping 140 lbs and is 1 year and half old. He is adorable and we love him! As do Matt and Jess, of course!Looks may be deceiving but this is MAGNUS, not Apollo! He is so BIG!!! We love it!
Here is Magnus with his Mama! Despite his stinkiness she does love on him :)
Matt and Magnus just happy as can be!
Matt and Jess had to go home for a weekend so we got to dog sit Magnus and it was soooo fun! We took both of them on a walk in the park and we definitely got some attention and everyone loved petting the beautiful doggies! We also found that Apollo and Magnus are BFF!!!! :)
And this was definitely not posed....I actually think this whoel situation evolved out of jealousy because one of them was on the couch with Troy and the other was like "Hey now...I want some love!" But still absolutely adorable!!

Valentines day was low key but still really really special for Troy and I. We made a nice dinner together which we love doing and watched a movie at home together. It was nice to just shut ourselves off from the world and enjoy each other's company.
Here was our Valentines day supper!
Also for a nice Valentine's day surprise we got 2 inches of snow in AUGUSTA!! We were so excited about it and Apollo loved it! His first snow!
Our picturesque little home covered in snow...doesn't it just make you want to curl up by a fire with some hot chocolate and watch a movie? Mr. Apollo romping in the snowMy wonderful handsome husband that I am so absolutely blessed to have by my side.

Now to the other weather extreme, which I think these pictures were taken a week after the snow. It was so beautiful outside and it was perfect jacket weather! We went on a walk by the river with Apollo and enjoyed the sunshine earlier on a Saturday morning. This park is our favorite! Apollo loves it to because we let him off the leash and he trots up ahead of us a few feet then circles back and checks on us and this process is repeated until a biker comes along where we have to quickly grab him so he doesn't chase after the poor unsuspecting bike rider.
PS. I need to cut my hair BADLY!!!
Alex, my younger sister and her highschool basketball team has accomplished a major feat! They have made it all the way to the semi finals of the state tournament in basketball!!! Here Troy and I are with his parents at the gym. It was so nice to have both my family and Troy's family there. Somehow we missed a picture with the star of the event. Next post we will have one where she won the whole thing! Hope everyone is doing well! I, along with my classmates, have just survived possibly the worst 2 and a half weeks we have had in dental school so far. Midterms almost killed us but we are on the other side and have a week where we have no tests!! YAYY!! Hopefully I will be able to do another post here soon.

Love,
The Kossick's
